Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - As the days tick away toward Election Day 2021, the Buffalo mayoral candidates will meet in debate at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Wednesday.
WBEN will provide full LIVE coverage of the debate Wednesday morning at 9:15 and immediately following will air complete analysis with a panel of guests and your calls.
The debate will be moderated by AP Government Teacher Ted Lina and the debate questions will be written and posed by St. Joe’s AP Government students and members of the school's Equity & Justice Club.
The candidates squaring off in the session include incumbent and write-in candidate Byron Brown, write-in candidate Benjamin Carlisle and Democratic nominee India Walton.
The debate is the only scheduled debate between now and the election and will be attended by students, faculty, and staff of St. Joe’s and is not open to the public.
