HARRISON, N.J. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A woman was stabbed to death and a second woman was wounded in Harrison, New Jersey, early Tuesday morning, according to prosecutors and reports.
The women were stabbed after 1:30 a.m. at the Harrison Gardens apartment complex on Harrison Avenue, WABC reported.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed one of the women died. She has not been identified.
The severity of the second woman’s injuries wasn’t immediately known.
A person was reportedly taken into custody after trying to flee the area. They haven't been identified, and their relationship to the two women wasn't clear.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Harrison Police Department are investigating.
