Communications Director Mex Reiss said that Lamont underwent the procedure at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Stamford and is now recovering at home.

Lamont, 68, had a similar procedure done on his other hip almost exactly one year ago, according to Reiss.

Lamont’s medical team said the governor is now on track for a “speedy recovery” and will work remotely while he recovers.
