
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two construction workers at JFK Airport were killed in a trench collapse on Monday morning, authorities said.
At approximately 11:08 a.m., Port Authority Police Department received a report of two workers trapped under construction rubble at JFK International Airport.
Officials responded to the scene where both workers were they were confirmed dead.
A stop order for all construction at JFK has been issued.
The Port Authority said it is conducting a thorough investigation.
