Julien Blanc, a 34-year-old father of two, and Pierre Audebert, 28, were discovered dead on the northbound 3 train line near the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road station in Brownsville just before 7 a.m. after the FDNY responded to a report from a subway worker of bodies near the tracks.

The NYPD investigation indicated the men had been hit in the early hours of Wednesday morning or late Tuesday night.

Ceet Fouad, a French-Algerian graffiti artist who worked with Blanc and Audebert told Gothamist the three men met for dinner the night before but didn’t discuss plans to tag a train.

"RIP my brothers," wrote Fouad on Instagram. "I will love you forever."
