
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men were robbed, and one assaulted, while on a Manhattan E train Friday night, authorities said.
The victims, a 21-year-old and a 25-year-old, were approaching Canal Street on the E train around 8:45 p.m. when two men came up to them demanding their property, police said.
After threatening to harm the victims, the suspects stole the mens’ cellphones, according to officials.
The attackers then pushed the 21-year old to the ground and kicked him in the head before stealing a bag, which had his wallet inside, before fleeing the scene, cops said.
The 21-year-old refused medical attention for minor injuries while the 25-year-old did not sustain any injuries.
