3 injured, 1 dead in shooting at Queens auto repair shop

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three people are injured and one person is dead after a Saturday night shooting inside of a Queens auto body shop Saturday night, police said.

Officers responding to a 911 call of shots fired inside of D-Truck Collision at 129-09 89 Ave. in Jamaica around 9:40 p.m. found four people with gunshot injuries.

Two teen girls were found with graze wounds. A 17-year-old had a graze wound to her torso and an 18-year-old had a graze wound to her head. Both refused medical attention, police said.

A 25-year-old man was also injured with a gunshot wound to his right leg. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, officials said.

One victim, 24-year-old Justin Baerga, was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for a gunshot wound to his head. He was later pronounced dead.

The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
