4 shot at Bronx public housing complex, suspect at-large

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Four men were shot while hanging out in the courtyard of a Bronx NYCHA complex on Friday, according to police.

The unidentified shooter opened fire around 4:50 p.m. at the Pelham Parkway Houses, authorities said.

A 22-year-old man was hit in the left ankle, a 28-year-old man was hit in the foot and a 26-year-old and 29-year-old were each hit in the butt, according to officials.

The 29-year-old reportedly went to Jacobi Medical Center by his own means with non-life threatening injuries.

Emergency responders brought the other three men to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition.

Police have not yet made any arrests, and an NYPD investigation is ongoing.
