
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a trio of suspects who locked employees at a Bronx 7-Eleven at gunpoint during a robbery earlier this month, authorities said.
It happened just before 3:30 a.m. on Monday, March 20, three suspects entered a 7-Eleven located at 1590 Hutchinson River Parkway in Pelham Bay, officials said.
Once inside, police said two of the suspects displayed firearms at three store employees then locked two employees in a restroom at the location.
They escorted the third employee to the front of the store and demanded that he opened the cash registers.
The suspects proceeded to take approximately $700, as well as approximately $1,050 in cigarettes before fleeing the location in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
