Federal prosecutors charged James with carrying out a terror attack against a mass transit system and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence for the April 12 mass shooting on a Manhattan-bound N train in Sunset Park.

James was arrested the next day after he called in a tip on himself.

Since his arrest, he has been held without bail.

If convicted, James faces life in prison.
