BELLMAWR, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a 9-year-old girl in front of a Camden County school on Monday morning.

The motorist hit the child with a white pickup truck in front of Ethel M. Burke Elementary School before classes started, according to the Bellmawr Police Department.
The truck reportedly had a broken rear window and a damaged bumper.
The girl was brought to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.
She’s since been released.
