NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Andrew Cuomo's youngest daughter, 24-year-old Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo, shared a story on Twitter Friday written by a freelance journalist which called her father's sexual harassment scandal a "manufactured #MeToo-style PR offensive."

"Finally. Please read," she tweeted, along with the story written by Michael Tracey titled, "Unprecedented abuse of power: What the media still isn't telling you about the Cuomo debacle."
In the piece, published on the independent online platform Substack, Tracey accuses New York Attorney General Letitia James of being driven to destroy the former New York governor's political career because of her own Albany ambitions -- something he writes has been very evident.
"Well, wouldn’t you know it, but the chickens are coming home to roost a bit earlier than some might have anticipated," he wrote. "That is due to the ongoing seedy machinations of Letitia James, the NY Attorney General and chief putsch orchestrator, who continues to wield the law enforcement powers of the state to advance her own personal electoral ambitions with startling capriciousness."
He continues, "On the evening of October 27, word began to trickle out that James would be announcing a run for Governor in 2022. This was no surprise: as the final stage of the Cuomo ouster was being executed this past summer, James somehow made time to tour around the Hamptons doing $5,000/plate fundraisers — in obvious preparation for a gubernatorial campaign."
Michaela was with her dad her dad in New York City on Aug. 10 when he announced that he would resign following the release of the results of James' probe that he sexually harassed multiple women.
A spokesperson for James did not comment on the story.
