
MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- Officers swarmed the Bel-Air Motor Lodge in Maple Shade after a woman’s body was discovered Wednesday morning in Maple Shade. Her death is being investigated as a homicide, prosecutors said.

A call was made to the Maple Shade Police Department around 11:30 a.m. with information about an unresponsive woman in one of the motel's room, according to a statement from the department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
“The victim’s name is being withheld until her identity is confirmed and her family has been informed about the crime,” Joel Bewley, the public information officer at the prosecutor’s office, wrote in a news release.
The Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, police said.
There have been no arrests and no suspects named.
