
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) —A man on a dirt bike suffered serious burns after his bike burst into flames when it crashed into a New York City parks department vehicle in the Bronx, police said.

The collision occurred around 8 p.m. Saturday on East 138th Street and Willow Ave. in Mott Haven.
Cops said the biker struck the back of a New York City Department of Parks and Recreation car and then became pinned under his bike which ignited.
The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical condition.
