
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 15-year-old girl was struck and wounded by a stray bullet that entered her home in Queens on Tuesday night, police said.
The girl was hit just after 11 p.m. as she sat in the dining room of her house on 113th Road, near Francis Lewis Boulevard, in St. Albans.
The bullet struck the girl in her right shin. She was taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center and is expected to survive.
Investigators found multiple spent bullets across the street from the house.

Police are not sure if one or two people fired shots, but one of the bullets went astray, passed through a window and struck the girl.
Investigators are looking at security camera footage as they search for the shooter or shooters.
