Well, sort of. You just have to be in New Jersey. And have the E-ZPass app. And opt-in for notifications.
Gov. Phil Murphy signed a bill into law on Monday requiring the app to send users a notification detailing the toll charge no later than 24 hours after their E-ZPass is read.
It applies to toll roads like the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, the Atlantic City Expressway, and the five bridges on Ocean Drive from Cape May to Ocean City.
The legislation allows customers to review more immediate billing statements and stay up to speed on their toll usage.
Toll bridges into Pennsylvania and New York City don’t apply.
