JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a group of thieves targeted a Jersey City car rental company and stole several luxury vehicles over the weekend.
According to Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione, the thefts occurred at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 30 Mall Drive West, near Newport Centre mall.

The suspects took a Corvette, Porsche Macan, and a Land Rover from the Avis car rental facility.
The Corvette and Land Rover were later recovered from a nearby parking garage located at 321 Warren Street, Wallace-Scalcione added.
An investigation remains ongoing.
