NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was shot in the leg near an Upper West Side elementary school Thursday afternoon, police said.

According to the NYPD, a 71-year-old man was shot in the leg near West 71st Street and Amsterdam Avenue just before 2 p.m.
The victim was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition. Cops said the man was an unintended target.
Police said they are looking for three suspects in connection to the shooting at this time.
The shooting took place within a close proximity of West End Day School.
