NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for the repeated vandalism of a gay bar in Hell's Kitchen, police said.

Sean Kuilan, who police say lives around the corner from VERS bar, was charged with three counts of criminal mischief, three counts of reckless endangerment and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

The arrest came after the NYPD released new surveillance footage of Kuilan in a bodega in the neighborhood, accusing him of two brick-throwing attacks and one rock-throwing attack at the bar on Ninth Avenue in the last week.

The latest attack on Saturday night came just hours before a gunman killed five people and wounded more than a dozen others at an LGBTQ club in Colorado Springs.

Bar owner David DeParolesa previously told 1010 WINS that he hoped the serial attacks' attention could "help others and bring to light that the LGBTQ community is one that still needs broader help and support."

Gov. Kathy Hochul signed legislation Tuesday to combat hate crimes, including requiring anyone convicted of a hate crime to participate in hate crime prevention training and launching a statewide tolerance and inclusion campaign.

"Our hearts are broken after a weekend during which LGBTQ Americans were massacred and Jewish New Yorkers were targeted in horrific acts of hateful violence," Hochul said in a statement. "New York belongs to the good, not those with hate in their hearts — we're taking bold action to reclaim our city and state from the haters, bigots and white supremacists."
