CLEANED OUT: Man enters Manhattan residence, steals power washer: NYPD

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- A burglar is accused of breaking into a Manhattan building and making off with a man’s power washer, according to police.

Police said on Aug. 27 at 6 p.m.,  a person entered a basement storage closet of a residence near Seaman Avenue and West 218th Street.

It was then that the person took a 54-year-old man’s power washer and fled the scene on foot eastbound on West 225th Street, the NYPD said.

The person police are seeking is a man wearing a camouflage baseball hat with the word “ARMY” on it, a blue mask on his face, red and white gloves, a dark shirt, blue jeans and multicolored sneakers.

Police released footage of the man in question walking down the street with the power washer.
