NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The NYPD is searching for a man who they say followed a 28-year-old woman to her Brooklyn apartment building from the subway station and assaulted her.
The suspect is seen on surveillance video exiting the 45 Street 4 Avenue subway station in Sunset Park and following the woman to her building a few blocks away.
The man then began to masturbate at the apartment building, making sexual comments toward the woman. He then grabbed her with one hand while continuing to masturbate with the other.
The suspect then attacked the woman, grabbing her around the neck and punching her multiple times in the face and body before fleeing the scene.
The victim was taken to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn in stable condition.
