
NEPTUNE, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- Police in New Jersey are on the hunt for a suspect after a man was found riddled with gunshot wounds early Monday morning, officials said. The victim later died.
Police responded to a report of possible shots fired on Route 35 South just after 1:30 a.m.

Officers found the victim who had been repeatedly shot in a vehicle parked on the South Concourse along the Shark River in Neptune, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later, officials said.
