NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A toddler and her mother were pepper-sprayed by a man at a Bronx subway station on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The 2-year-old tot and her 30-year-old mom were hit with the irritant on a platform at the 149th Street–Grand Concourse station in Mott Haven just after 3:30 p.m.
The man appeared to be aiming for two women he'd been arguing with, but he missed and struck the mom and daughter, according to the Daily News.
The two victims were taken in stable condition to Lincoln Hospital.
The man got away on a train. The two women also fled the scene.
No arrests had been reported as of Thursday.
