
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating after a 39-year-old man was stabbed multiple times during a dispute outside a Bronx bodega Sunday, officials said.

According to police, at approximately 10 p.m., the victim got into an argument with another man outside the deli located on Westchester Avenue near Jackson Avenue in Woodstock.
The victim was stabbed in the rib cage and stomach area, authorities said.
He was transported to Lincoln Medical Center in stable condition.
The suspect fled in an unknown direction and no arrests had been made as of Monday morning.
The nature of the dispute remains unclear and an investigation is ongoing.
