NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl at knifepoint on a subway train near Yankee Stadium, police said Thursday as they released a sketch of the suspect.

The girl was riding a northbound 4 train near the 149th Street–Grand Concourse station in Mott Haven around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 when the man came up and pulled a knife on her.

The man told the girl to “be quiet” in Spanish before groping her leg, waist and buttocks, police said.

The attacker was last seen fleeing the train at the 161st Street–Yankee Stadium station. He’s believed to be about 40 years old.

The girl was not physically injured, police said.
