NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Two teens were slashed in the middle of Times Square by a man who remained at large on Wednesday, police said.
The two victims—a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl—were assaulted around 4:30 a.m. at Broadway and W. 43rd Street.
The teens were among a group of people when a man passed by and exchanged words with them, police said.
A resulting dispute led to the man whipping out a sharp object and attacking the two teens.
Both victims suffered lacerations to their hands in the assault, according to police.
They were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue for treatment and later released.
The attacker fled the scene and was still being sought as of Wednesday afternoon.
