NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police said a man was stabbed on a Brooklyn subway train, just one day after another man was killed on a Manhattan train.
Police said it happened around 2 a.m. Sunday during a fight on a northbound J train at the Myrtle Avenue-Broadway station.
The victim was stabbed in the chest and rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
Police said the attacker fled the scene. It's unclear what circumstances led to the stabbing.
This attack happened after a man was found stabbed to death on a train near the 14th Street-Union Square subway station early Saturday and days after a man fatally stabbed also aboard a J train — this time in Williamsburg.
The man charged in that fatal Brooklyn subway stabbing was freed without bond Thursday.
