NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was stabbed at a Wall Street subway station on Tuesday morning, police said.

The victim was attacked shortly after 6 a.m. on a staircase leading to the 4/5 station at Broadway, according to police.
The victim and his attacker got into a dispute on a train before the stabbing, police said.
The victim was hospitalized and is expected to survive.
The suspect was armed with a boxcutter and fled down Broadway, WABC reported.
No arrests have been reported.
Just last week, a retired NYPD officer was slashed at the 2/3 Wall Street station by a man who spat at him and his wife, police said.
It’s been over a month since Mayor Eric Adams launched his subway safety plan, however transit crime is still up 65% year-to-date and nearly 30% in just the last month.
