NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man was stabbed and slashed on a platform at the Union Square subway station, police said Monday as they released images of one of several suspects they're searching for.
The victim was involved in some sort of dispute with multiple people at 1:45 a.m. Sunday when they assaulted him on an L train platform.
The assailants used a sharp object to stab and slash him multiple times all over his body, police said.
They then fled on a Brooklyn-bound L train, according to police.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
Surveillance footage shows one of the suspects on a staircase at the station around the time of the attack.
