
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody after a man was struck by a stray bullet while waiting for an MTA bus in Harlem Sunday, according to authorities.
Officials said at around 9:30 p.m., a 40-year-old man was standing at a bus stop located at West 145th Street and Amsterdam Avenue when he was struck in the shin.

The victim was not believed to have been the intended target, police said.
Another man waiting for the bus was also struck by shattered glass from the bus shelter after the bullets rang out, police said.
Both men suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation remains ongoing.
