The NYPD released an image of the suspect Wednesday as they investigate Sunday afternoon’s attack at the Rockaway Boulevard station in Ozone Park.

Police said the 36-year-old victim was waiting for a Manhattan-bound A train around 2:25 p.m. when a man came up to him from behind and stabbed him in the neck twice with an unknown object.

The victim fell to the ground and his attacker took off on foot, police said.

EMS transported the victim in critical condition to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

The image of the suspect shows him fleeing the scene, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
