
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An MTA bus driver was stabbed by an angry passenger in Queens on Wednesday night, police said.

According to police, the 54-year-old driver was operating a Q6 bus at Rockaway Boulevard and 150th Street in Jamaica around 10:30 p.m. when a man onboard became upset and got into a dispute with the driver.
That's when the rider used an "unknown object" to stab the driver in the leg.
Cops said the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. He is described as having a dark complexion, being around 5'11" tall, wearing black cargo shorts and white sneakers.
The driver was taken to Jamaica University Hospital Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
It remains unclear what triggered the incident, according to police.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
