NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 64-year-old MTA worker was clipped by a train at a Brooklyn subway station early Monday morning, police said.

The employee was working on the tracks at Jay Street-MetroTech around 1:45 a.m. when he was hit by a departing northbound F train.
Authorities said he was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
Demetrius Crichlow, MTA Vice President for Subways, told MTA board members during a meeting Monday that he had visited the injured worker who had suffered injuries to his ribs and arm but "is in good spirits."
Crichlow added that the incident remains under investigation.
"He will remain in our thoughts as he begins his recovery," he said.
The crash comes months after a 26-year-old MTA worker lost a foot after being struck by a Q train inside the 8th Street-NYU subway station.
