Mercedes driver jumps curb, critically injures woman in Inwood hit-run

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released video Tuesday of a Mercedes-Benz driver who they say jumped a curb in Upper Manhattan and crashed into a woman, critically injuring her.

The 30-year-old victim was outside a Dominican restaurant on W. 202nd Street, between Ninth and Tenth avenues, in Inwood around 4:15 a.m. Monday when the Mercedes hurtled onto the sidewalk and struck her.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in critical but stable condition.

The Mercedes driver took off eastbound on W. 202nd Street, according to police.

Video released by the NYPD shows the suspected driver before the crash.
