Rent in Queens increased by 28%, Manhattan by 23% and Brooklyn by 11.1%, according to a real estate report by Miller Samuel first disseminated by the New York Post.
The median price for an apartment in Manhattan this January was $3,467 — just shy of the all-time record, $3,472 in 2020 before the pandemic.
The median price for an apartment in Queens was $2,811 and Brooklyn was $2,747.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused a massive dip in rent prices, but recent statistics indicate a full rebound to the former status quo.
