Quadisha Thomas, a 26-year-old NYPD custodian, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Monday. In addition to assault, she was charged with harassment.

Thomas' arrest stemmed from an argument between her and another person on the boardwalk, police said.

The dispute escalated, and Thomas punched the victim in the head, according to police.

It’s not known what the argument was about. Additional details about the victim, including their condition, also weren’t immediately available.
