
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to locate any family members of a man whose body was found floating under a Bronx overpass earlier this month, authorities said.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Monday, November 7, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man floating in a body of water inside of Starlight Park in the vicinity of Westchester Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard in Charlotte Gardens.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious adult man floating face down in a body of water underneath a small overpass at the location.
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
The man was identified as an undomiciled 60-year-old male, known to the department.
The 43 Precinct Detective Squad is seeking the public's assistance in locating any of the man's family members.
