
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested in the Bronx Friday night for sexually abusing his romantic partner, according to police.
Carlos Diaz, 36, was arrested around 10:45 p.m. in the 49th Precinct, which covers Bronxdale, Allerton-Pelham Gardens and Pelham Parkway.
Authorities said he “grabbed multiple places,” but did not elaborate further on the nature of the attack.
The police also refused to identify the gender of his partner and whether they were dating or married.
Diaz faces charges for forcible touching and sex abuse.
According to public records, there are multiple people named Carlos Diaz working for the NYPD. The police refused to specify which Carlos Diaz was arrested, though.
