The officer was struck by a car around 4 p.m. while riding the e-bike near Clarendon Road and East 31st Street in Flatbush, according to police.
The officer suffered a head injury and was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was in stable condition.
Sources told the New York Post that the officer wasn't wearing a helmet at the time and was initially hospitalized in critical condition.
It doesn’t appear anyone else was injured in the crash.
The driver who struck the cop remained at the scene and has not been charged, police said.
