NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a man’s partially decomposed body was discovered on a walking trail in a Bronx park Monday morning, authorities said.
According to officials, the remains of a 61-year-old man were discovered at around 9 a.m. at Hunter Island trail in Pelham Bay Park.
The man’s identity wasn’t immediately released.
There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body and the city's Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death, a police spokesman said.
