NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for three men who beat a 42-year-old man before stealing his pants off of his legs in Mt. Eden.

The three suspects, who police said were between the ages of 20 and 25, approached the victim from behind at the intersection of Inwood Avenue and West 172nd Street on May 14 around 12:20 p.m. and started punching him.
After beating him into submission, they forcibly removed his pants, which contained his cellphone, and fled on foot.
The man was left with no pants, a cut elbow and a bruised head.
Emergency responders brought him to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
