
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was slashed across the face as he sat on a subway train on the Upper West Side this week, police said Friday.
The NYPD released surveillance footage of a suspect they’re searching for in Tuesday night’s unprovoked attack.
The 49-year-old victim was seated on a northbound 2 train around 9:45 p.m. when he was assaulted as the train neared the 72nd Street station at Broadway.
A man came up with a razor and slashed the victim on his face, police said.
The victim suffered a laceration across his nose. He was transported by EMS to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was in stable condition.
