The dispute then spilled outside and the teens were chased down Washington Ave., where an 18-year-old boy, was stabbed in the stomach and the arm, police said.

The teen was rushed by EMS to New York Methodist Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening-injuries.

The attacked fled the scene and no arrests have been made.

At about 3:15 a.m. on June 27, a gunman opened fire outside the Langston Hughes NYCHA complex in Brownsville, striking Campbell in the torso.

Campbell was taken to Brookdale University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are unsure if Campbell was the intended target.

An investigation remains ongoing.
