
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A collision on the Upper East Side led to an assault and robbery and police are searching for the man responsible.

On April 15, a 38-year-old man was involved in a collision with the suspect near East 88th Street and York Avenue at 8:20 p.m., authorities said.
After the collision, the suspect forced the victim to go to a nearby ATM and withdraw money, officials said. He then punched the victim in the face and took two chains from his neck before fleeing the scene, cops said.
The victim went to a nearby hospital to be treated for a fractured jaw and ribs, according to police.
