
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Cops are searching for three people who stole a man’s dog after trying to rob him of cash on Wednesday night in Brooklyn.

The 29-year-old victim was walking his 12-year-old dog named Mango in front of 100 White Street in Bushwick around 7:15 p.m. when the incident happened.
Three men approached the victim and tackled him into a fire hydrant demanding money. When the victim said he didn’t have any money on him, they stole Mango, police said.
The victim suffered a laceration to his back, right knee and left arm from the fall into the hydrant. EMS workers treated him at the scene.

Mango, who is still missing, is described as a female black and brown Chihuahua/Terrier mix.
