NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A group of young people beat a 64-year-old man following a dispute on a Brooklyn bus this week, with one of the assailants using a hammer to strike the victim in the head, video shows.

The man was assaulted by a group of males at Glenwood Road and Albany Avenue in East Flatbush around 2 p.m. Monday, police said.
Video obtained by the New York Post shows the assault, which reportedly followed a dispute between the teens and the man on a B6 bus.
“Get off the bus!” a woman tells the group before one of them throws an object at the man, who then gets off the bus and is surrounded.
Members of the group begin pummeling the man on the sidewalk, with one using a hammer to bash him over the head, the disturbing video shows.
The man reportedly suffered a laceration to his head, though police said the severity of his injuries were not known.
It's also unclear what led to the confrontation between the man and the teens, but the victim may be wearing a security uniform in the video.
No arrests have been reported.
