VIDEO: Thief in 'Pay Day' hoodie waves gun in $5,500 Brooklyn deli robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two thieves—including one wearing a hoodie with "Pay Day" emblazoned across the front—stormed into a Brooklyn deli at gunpoint this week and robbed a worker of $5,500 in cash and merch, NYPD video released Tuesday shows.

The hooded pair walked into Midway Deli and Tobacco on Atlantic Avenue in Cypress Hills around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night and pulled a gun while demanding money, police said.

Video shows one of the robbers jumping over a counter and holding the worker up at gunpoint as the second crook grabs random items from a wall display.

The suspects fled with $1,500 cash and $4,000 in merchandise, as well as the worker’s cellphone and belt.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

The duo was still being sought Tuesday, police said.
