NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Thieves kicked a worker and stole over $3,000 in merchandise at a Manhattan spa last weekend, police said Wednesday as they released video of the brazen, broad-daylight robbery.
The trio first tried to enter the Rescue Spa on E. 19th Street in the Flatiron District through a secondary entrance door around 2:20 p.m. Saturday, but the door was locked, according to police.
The crooks then entered the spa through the main entrance door, and once inside, began stealing items from the shelves, police said.

When a woman working at the store tried to stop them, she was kicked in the groin, according to police.
The thieves made off with goods valued at $3,129, police said.
The victim suffered minor pain from the kick.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
