NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A 60-year-old woman was dragged out of her Toyota RAV4 and beaten by a carjacker in the Bronx this week, police said Wednesday.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect they're after in Monday's brazen midday carjacking on Steenwick Avenue in Eastchester.

The victim was sitting in the black Toyota shortly after 1 p.m. when a man opened the door and dragged her out of the SUV, police said.

He then punched and kicked her before driving away in the vehicle.

The victim was transported to Montefiore Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.

The Toyota had not been recovered as of Wednesday, police said. It has a New York registration number of 552279.
