Jinjin (Jim) Li was in his Flushing office at 39th Ave. near 138th Street when a 25-year-old woman entered around 11:40 a.m. and stabbed him in the neck and body, The Daily News reported.

Sources told the Daily News that the alleged attacker, Xiao Ning Zhang, caused a disruption at the office last week because Li did not want to take her on as a client.

Li was taken to New York Presbyterian-Booth Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

“I can’t believe it. She not only destroyed his life, but the hope of our community,” Li’s best friend, lawyer Wei (Wayne) Zhu, told the Daily News. “He wanted to realize democracy in China. He will never realize that dream.”

Zhang was taken into custody at the scene to be questioned. Charges against her are pending.
